+Vintage 1930s ceramic brooch featuring pink and white roses alongside For-Get-Me-Not pale blue flowers. This fine brooch was made by Irish pottery brand Belleek. Belleek were established at the end of the Victorian era and are in operation to this day. Belleek were known for their very milk almost translucent glass which can be observed on the brooch, the fine blue flowers are very delicate to look at. The brooch secures with an open 'c' clasp.
HISTORY
Belleek Pottery Ltd is a porcelain company that began trading in 1884 as the Belleek Pottery Works Company Ltd in Belleek, County Fermanagh, in what was to become Northern Ireland. The factory produces porcelain that is characterised by its thinness, slightly iridescent surface and that the body is formulated with a significant proportion of fruit.

CONDITION
The brooch is in very good vintage condition. There is a small amount of verdigree around the clasp.
